We invite you to participate in the EBSCO Database User Training, where EBSCO representatives will share their knowledge. This hands-on training is aimed at students, teachers and anyone interested in study and research information. The training is in English.
- EBSCO resources for art studies
Time: 11:00 hrs. (45 minutes)
During this session we will make an overview of EBSCO resources dedicated to art studies. The training will start with Power Point presentation showing the most important features of Art & Architecture Source. After that we will move to EBSCOhost platform for more practical part. Based on real examples we will explain basic and advanced search screen, search modes, search codes, limiters and expanders.

Education Sourceis the world’s largest full-text research database designed for education students, professionals and policymakers. It provides full text, indexing and abstracts for thousands of education journals, books and education-related conference papers. During this session we will show the content based on the real search examples.

Time: 12:30 hrs. (45 minutes)
Legal Source is a rich full-text scientific database for law students. Provides full text, indexes and summaries of thousands of journals in the fields of administrative law, criminal law, family law, intellectual property law, insurance law, patents and trademarks, securities, tax law, trade regulation and much more. During this session, we will discuss the content of database and show real search examples.
- Advanced search on EBSCOhost platform
Time: 11:30 hrs. (60 minutes)
During the session we will show how to conduct more advanced search using available features on EBSCOhost platform together with special signs as *, “…”, (…), #, ?.
- How to use ebooks from Public Library Subscription Collection to improve foreign language skills?
Time: 13:00 hrs. (40 minutes)
Practical training during which participants will learn how to use EBSCO e-books online, how to download full e-books and chapters, how to use e-books on smartphones, tablets and readers or how to download and authorize Adobe Digital Editions. The session will start with short presentation of the content within EBSCO eBook Public Library Subscription Collection.
