During the summer holidays (July and August), the library in Kaunas is open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Alytus library is open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

On the last Friday of the month, the libraries offer shorter service hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The libraries are closed on public holidays. On the days before public holidays, the libraries close one hour earlier.
