We invite you to the exhibition-competition “I draw a Heart” by the Patient Society “Sveika širdis” and Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution Academy of Arts Design Studies Graphic Design students.
The exhibition-competition “I draw a Heart” is an artistic social initiative, the goal of which is to create graphic posters, the content of which would reflect the importance of the heart in human life, both physically and spiritually.
Another goal is to motivate, promote students’ creative initiatives, aesthetic perception, and allow students’ artistic individuality to unfold.
The initiator of the exhibition is the “Sveika širdis” patient association. Society of patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases “Sveika širdis” unites patients with hypertension, high cholesterol, patients living with other cardiovascular diseases, as well as everyone who cares about heart health and a healthy lifestyle. The “Sveika širdis” society sets ambitious goals not only to teach society to avoid these diseases or to live with them in a quality way, but also to be heard when making important decisions in government. Also important goals of the society are to educate the public in various forms and methods about the risk factors of cardiovascular diseases, their management, prevention and healthy lifestyle; to promote the cooperation of the association “Sveika širdis” and Lithuanian medical institutions, other institutions and companies, in order to improve patients’ social adaptation and physical, emotional and psychological health.
The students of the Graphic Design I-II-III course of the Design Studio of the KK MUF Academy of Arts participate in the exhibition-competition (DZ2 3/4 gr.; DZ1 1 gr.; DZ0 3 gr.). The students’ creative works were supervised by the lecturers of KK MA Design Studio: Gintarė Jarašienė and Gerūta Sprindytė.
In the exhibition-competition, the best works will be selected and rewarded with cash prizes.
