Temporary access to the evidence-based clinical decision support database BMJ Best Practice

Until 31 May 2026, the community of Kauno kolegija has been granted temporary access to the BMJ publisher’s evidence-based clinical decision support database BMJ Best Practice. Access is available via the Kauno kolegija network (on-campus computers or remotely via the institutional VPN). The database can be accessed at: https://bestpractice.bmj.com

BMJ Best Practice is a reliable evidence-based clinical decision support database designed for health sciences researchers and students. It provides evidence-based, regularly updated information resources that enable users to quickly and systematically find information on disease diagnosis, progression, treatment, and prevention. The database also includes the Comorbidities Manager tool, which is particularly useful when managing patients with multiple coexisting conditions.

We recommend making use of the additional BMJ Best Practice resources:

  • a user guide (video);
  • a mobile application and its installation guide;
  • a short video demonstrating the benefits of BMJ Best Practice for studies and clinical practice.

We invite you to participate in training sessions led by BMJ Best Practice representatives:

If you have any questions regarding the trial database or other resources, please contact us by email: biblioteka@go.kauko.lt
