Temporary access to the CINAHL Ultimate and MEDLINE Ultimate databases is open to the community. We invite you to try two new medical databases and enrich your writing with the latest information.

  • CINAHL Ultimate is the most comprehensive full-text database in the field of nursing and allied health research. It covers such areas as: nursing, biomedicine, library science in the field of health sciences, alternative medicine and 17 related health sciences. The database indexes over 5,500 journals and contains over 7 million records with archives since 1937. The database contains the full text of over 1,800 journals, of which over 900 are active full-text non-open access journals. The database covers over 50 nursing specialties and includes quick lessons, evidence-based care sheets, CEU models and research instruments.

  • MEDLINE Ultimate offers medical professionals, students and researchers access to unmatched evidence-based and peer-reviewed full-text content from more of the top biomedical journals. The database provides access to the full texts of more than 2,800 journals, of which over 1,600 journals are active full-text non-open access journals. MEDLINE Ultimate is the authoritative research tool in the medical literature and provides access to medical information in general medicine, health, pharmacology, neurology, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, histology, microbiology and many other areas of medical science. The database uses the medical thesaurus MeSH (Medical Subject Headings).
