Two New Issues of the Journal “Applied Research in Science” Are Now Available

In November, a special issue dedicated to the international scientific conference “Business and Technology Conference 2025” was released. It presents ten of the latest scientific studies, strategies, and real examples in the fields of technology, business, and economics, revealing the importance of resilience in a constantly changing environment and providing insights into how businesses can adapt to challenges, thrive, and create a sustainable future. The researchers discuss the impact of robotics and artificial intelligence on various fields (content marketing, accounting), strategies of resilience in logistics, the banking industry, organisational structures, and the use of eco-friendly, multifunctional materials.

Also, the 3rd issue of this year has just been published, containing fourteen publications in social sciences, medical and health sciences, humanities, and agricultural sciences. More than half of them are social science studies. This shows that social topics remain relevant and are becoming particularly important in an unstable political and economic context. Researchers analyse the relationship between economic security and the media, opportunities and perspectives of household lending, and the challenges posed by artificial intelligence for accounting. Sensitive but socially important issues are not overlooked either, including postpartum depression, individuals who grew up in families affected by addictions, school students with special educational needs, and bullying. Health science research is no less significant, focusing on the relationship between massage and chronic stress, soldiers’ attitudes toward oral health, muscle condition, and children’s foot health. This issue also includes several articles analysing cultural and agricultural topics. One of them examines an exhibition of the distinguished artist Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, whose 150th birth anniversary is celebrated this year, through visitor engagement analysis. Another publication explores art deco, which made Kaunas known, and historical perspectives of furniture in this style. The third article discusses the park located on the grounds of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, the woody plants growing there, their condition, and maintenance specifics.

The topics are intriguing, reflect current issues, encourage reflection, and perhaps may even inspire further research or the initiation of new studies. Or maybe you have already conducted research and would like to share its results?

We invite you to submit articles for upcoming issues of the scientific journal Applied Research!

The journal applies a diamond open-access model; article publication is free of charge for authors, and articles are openly accessible. The journal is registered in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and in Crossref. DOI numbers are assigned to articles. Articles are peer-reviewed and published in Lithuanian and English. Required documents (article guidelines, authors’ warranty letter, author information forms) are available on the journal website: https://ojs.kaunokolegija.lt/index.php/mttlk/about. All documents should be submitted in only one chosen language (Lithuanian or English).

We look forward to receiving articles, accompanying documents, or any related questions by email: zurnalas.mttlk@go.kauko.lt
