We invite you to an exhibition of book covers and illustrations by Vilūnė Grigaitė, a lecturer at the Department of Media Technologies in the Faculty of Technology at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution. The exhibition features fiction book covers, as well as covers and illustrations for children’s fiction and educational books, created in collaboration with publishing houses such as Jotema, Alma Litera, Šviesa, Lithuanian Writers Union Publishing House, and Vaga over the past 15 years.
Lucturer Vilūnė Grigaitė used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create the covers and illustrations, often starting with paper drawings that were later edited or collaged on a computer.
Lecturer Vilūnė Grigaitė herself is a graduate of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, where she studied Polygraphy and the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she studied Applied Graphics from 1997 to 2003.
