Exhibition of bone porcelain works by students of ceramics specialisation of the Object Art study programme of the Art Academy of the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija

We invite you to visit the exhibition of bone porcelain works by students specializing in ceramics from the Object Art study program at the Arts Academy of the Faculty of Arts and Education, Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution. The exhibition is located on the second floor of The Library and Centre of Scientific Communication.

In the 18th century in England, during the quest to replicate authentic Chinese porcelain production, a unique material was created—bone porcelain, which contains 30–60% bone ash. Through their creative works, the students in this exhibition showcase how this material can combine lightness and strength, expressing their unique artistic perspectives.
