Library Training, EBSCO and O’Reilly for Higher Education Databases Representatives’ Training in English

Students and lecturers are invited to a practical library training session on sourcing information, literature analysis, citing sources, and the ethical use of artificial intelligence tools in coursework. You are also invited to participate in a training session led by representatives of the O’Reilly for Higher Education database. As with every month, we remind you about the database trainings in English organized by EBSCO representatives.

O’Reilly for Higher Education DATABASE STUDIES FOR RESPONSIBLE LEARNERS | DISTANCE TRAINING (English)
Training on the newly subscribed O’Reilly for Higher Education database of learning resources in information technology fields and related topics and how to search for resources within it. The database offers over 50,000 different resources: e-books, audiobooks, videos, course materials, expert playlists, as well as the ability to use regular search, filter results by subject, publisher, etc. The duration of the training is 1 hour. The training will be conducted in English.

Training on searching for sources in databases, virtual library and other search engines, literature analysis, citing and paraphrasing sources, compiling a reference list, and prevention of plagiarism in Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution. The duration of the training is 30 minutes. The training will take place in the library (Pramonės pr. 22A, room 208). Please register for the training in advance by clicking on the appropriate time:

This practical training is aimed at students, teachers, and anyone interested in study and research information. The EBSCO training offers useful tips, reliable information, and practical examples. EBSCO representatives aim to provide users with useful knowledge about databases to improve their research results.
