eLABa Consortium Certificate of Appreciation to Library Director Dr. Lina Šarlauskienė

At the jubilee eLABa Consortium conference “The Connection of Science and Knowledge – 15 Years of the eLABa Consortium,” held on 28 November 2025 at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, a letter of appreciation from the eLABa Consortium was presented to Dr. Lina Šarlauskienė, Head of the Library and Centre of Scientific Communication of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution. The appreciation was awarded for her significant and long-term contribution to the development of the Consortium’s activities, as well as for consulting Consortium members on the use of newly implemented library systems: Alma, Primo VE, Rialto, and the text similarity tool Turnitin.

The Lithuanian Academic Electronic Library (eLABa) Consortium currently comprises 41 research and higher education institutions. The Consortium’s priority is open, integrated access to national and international research and learning resources, as well as to the outcomes of Lithuanian researchers’ activities.

The jubilee eLABa conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania, the Research Council of Lithuania, partner institutions, heads of institutions participating in the Consortium, former members of the Consortium Board, authorized representatives of Consortium members, and other stakeholders. During the conference, letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania and the eLABa Consortium were presented to individuals actively involved in the Consortium’s activities. Conference participants listened to presentations on the importance of research information systems in Lithuania’s science policy, the history and future prospects of the Consortium’s activities, the wise use of information resources and artificial intelligence, and were introduced to the profile and expectations of future students.
