You are invited to visit the photography exhibition “Fotožvilgsniai – II” by Gintarė Jarašienė, a lecturer at the Design Studio of the Academy of Arts, Faculty of Arts and Education at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution, holder of a professional art licentiate, and a member of the Lithuanian Design Association. The exhibition is on display on the second floor of the library.
Annotation
. In nature, we always discover beauty, harmony, and tranquility… Nature grants us creative energy and helps us to live. Its inexhaustible creative power constantly inspires and encourages us to create. By observing nature and the transformation of its forms, we continually learn something new and interesting. There is always a desire to capture those moments, to reflect on them, and to enjoy them longer. It is hard to grasp just how many incredibly interesting and unique phenomena exist in nature, and what expressive and stunning forms emerge. There is great joy when you manage to capture them and extend the process of observing and exploring. Over time, one begins to interpret the creative forms of nature, combining them with personal thoughts and imagination.
The exhibition consists of photographic works capturing various fragments of natural motifs from Lithuania and other countries. The natural elements are depicted from specific angles, seeking uniqueness and visual intrigue in form. The photographs express the impact of light and shadow on natural forms, highlighting the subtlety and expressiveness of their compositions.
The main goal of the exhibition is to reveal the artistic quality and beauty of fleeting moments in nature, whose observation brings joy and positive emotions.
Gintarė Jarašienė
The author of the exhibition, Gintarė Jarašienė, is a lecturer at the Design Studio of the Academy of Arts, Faculty of Arts and Education at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution. She holds a professional art licentiate and is a member of the Lithuanian Design Association. Gintarė Jarašienė works in the field of graphic design, participates in exhibitions with her photography works, and also organizes solo exhibitions of her own artwork.
