We invite you to visit the exhibition of Sigita Saulėnienė, an art educator, Doctor of Social Sciences, and Associate Professor at the Department of Pedagogy, Faculty of Arts and Education, at Kauno Kolegija Higher Education Institution, on the second floor of the library. Sigita Saulėnienė is known as an artist who actively participates in exhibitions and competitions of ex-libris, bookplates, small graphic works, and watercolors. She created her first ex-libris while still in school and became more seriously involved in this art genre after graduating from the Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute. Sigita Saulėnienė actively contributes to the creation of ex-libris and promotes the popularity of this art form in Lithuania by organizing ex-libris competitions and exhibitions. She views ex-libris as a form of artistic communication that allows for a deeper understanding of culture and history.
