Open access means free and unrestricted online access to scientific publications, research data, and other published and unpublished quality peer-reviewed research material that any user can freely read, copy and perform automated content analysis without infringing copyright!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information from Open Access databases can be found in the virtual library of KUAS and in special portals dedicated to open access: <a href=\"https:\/\/biblioteka.kaunokolegija.lt\/en\/istekliai\/elektroniniai-istekliai\/\">Open access resources for studies and science. <\/a>For more information and to learn about the effective use of electronic science information resources through open access, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/open.ktu.edu\/course\/view.php?id=37#section-8\">training material.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> There are also many different international events taking place this week, so we invite you to check out and register for the <a href=\"http:\/\/openaccessweek.org\/?fbclid=IwAR0IL4Lhfex6L848J_JhcwqjKG7vl7lOXvB_lO9yazf1vcRk-i5BdAkcHok\">International Open Access Week events.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite scientists, researchers, science administrators, data management support specialists, and representatives of academic libraries to participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairsfair.eu\/\">FAIRsFAIR<\/a> project open science seminar, which will take place on <strong>November 10. (Wednesday) 10 a.m.<\/strong> This is an initiative of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairsfair.eu\/\">FAIRsFAIR<\/a> project, implemented in cooperation with Kaunas University of Technology, the national coordinator of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.openaire.eu\/\">OpenAIRE <\/a>in Lithuania, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/openscience-utrecht.com\/relatedcommunities\/\">Open Science Communities. <\/a>The event will be held in English.
